Syracuse, NY — Three Syracuse teens were sentenced to state prison Thursday in the shooting death of a 23-year-old Syracuse man.

Jaeden Campbell, then 16; Atreyu Boykins, then 17; and Tahson Sampson, then 17, had many disturbing traits in common: difficult upbringings, broken families, and a lack of direction in life. All three apologized, expressed hope that they would learn from their actions and leave prison as better men.
