Charlotte, NC — Not only did Mikel Jones choose Syracuse football over the NFL following the 2021 season, he chose it over other programs, too.
The senior linebacker said there had been intermediaries reaching out to those close to him in the offseason, trying to lure one of the team’s top players way from Syracuse at a time players can freely transfer and earn money off their name, image and likeness.
