Jim Boeheim gives an update on Symir Torrence’s shoulder

SYRACUSE, NY — Jim Boeheim said on his TK99 radio show tonight that Symir Torrence practiced with his Syracuse teammates Thursday “and seemed fine.”

Torrence, the Orange point guard, did not play in Louisville Tuesday. SU starting supervisors Judah Mintz and Joe Girard each played 40 minutes in this competition. It was Torrence’s first DNP of the season.

Afterwards, Boeheim said Torrence had a shoulder problem that prevented him from participating.

The Orange travels to Charlottesville, Virginia this weekend to play at the University of Virginia. Game time is Saturday at 5 p.m.
