Janice HINKLEY Obituary (2022) – Warsaw, NY

HINKLEY-Janice A.
Age 69, of Brentwood Drive, Cheektowaga, passed away, Monday, July 18, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, November 15, 1952, a daughter of the late Stanley J. and Eleanor A. Kaczmarek Wojczak. Jan graduated from Bishop McMahon High School and went on to marry the love of her life and raise a family together. She was a terrific homemaker and great cook. Her potato salad was legendary just like her BBQ hamburgers. Janice loved family gatherings and never missed a good party. She attended St. Philip The Apostle Church in Cheektowaga and was a member of their Ladies Club. Janice enjoyed crafting, karaoke, and casino trips. She loved live Broadway shows, musicals and classic television.
Janice is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years Ronald E. Hinkley, whom she married on October 21, 1972; two sons, Wayne Hinkley and Timothy (Mike Pogar) Hinkley both of Sloan; a sister, Carol (Paul) Kovacs of Bear, Delaware; a granddaughter, Courtney Hinkley of Blasdell; a nephew, Christopher Kovacs of Sumter, South Carolina; and several addition nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends of Janice A. Hinkley may call on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw, NY 14569. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at St. Philips The Apostle Church, 950 Losson Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Burial will take place privately for the family in the Western New York National Cemetery , in Pembroke.
