🌱 Patchogue Daily: Photo Gallery: Alive After Five + Clay Play At PML

Good morning, hello. It’s me, Debora Whitehead, your host of the Patchogue Daily — here to explain all the most important things happening in town.

First, today’s weather:

Mostly cloudy and more humid. High: 79, low: 71.

Here are the top 3 stories today in Patchogue:

  1. Photo Galleries: Patchogue had its second-day alive after five on Thursday. A crowd gathered to enjoy live music, food, and a diversity of entertainment on Main Street. Click here to see some scenes of the event. (Greater Patchogue)
  2. Bring the kiddos to the Patchogue-Medford Public Library on Tuesday, Aug. 2, to create a “Clay Fish Aquarium.” The program is for kids grades K-6 and starts at 5 pm (PMPL)
  3. The Village of Patchogue held a public hearing to propose a new downtown waste system and dumping plan. A hired professional consultant will do the garbage collection. The decision to hire a private company to collect the waste was made after a rat problem caused by food being thrown at the village’s dumpsters behind Main Street. (Long Island Advance)
