Carrier, Elizabeth (Betty Fish) LATHAM Elizabeth (Betty Fish) Carrier, age 90, of Latham, died on August 5, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born on July 24, 1932 to Arleigh and Mildred Fish of Troy, New York. Elizabeth was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1950. She later earned her degree as a dental hygienist from Eastman Dental School, Rochester, NY and worked as a hygienist for Troy Department of Health and the Schenectady School System. She waitressed for many years at Friendly’s, Howard Johnson’s and Denny’s restaurants where she received several hospitality awards. Elizabeth was a long-time resident of Troy, Worcester, NY, Rotterdam, Schenectady and Latham. Elizabeth loved to travel and had the privilege of visiting many places in her lifetime, such as Hawaii, Alaska, France, Holland, Italy, and the Caribbean Islands. She especially loved Italy! She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved gardening, music, reading and keeping up to date on Hollywood Celebrities and Royalty. Elizabeth is survived by her three daughters and son, Donna Carrier-Circe, Diane Madore (Kenneth Madore), Katherine Carrier and Robert Carrier. Her grandchildren, Alana Carrier (Mark Sinkevich), Alyssa Circe, Daniel Circe, Amanda Madore and Christina Madore. Her great-grand-children Aria Sinkevich, Maximillian Sinkevich and Nora Sinkevich; and her special friend Dennis O’Brien. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Community Hospice of Albany, New York.
