Cuomo’s attorney asks sheriff to save investigation files

Cuomo says the charges are based on flimsy evidence and are politically motivated. His lawyer wrote a letter to the sheriff on Saturday asking him to keep all records related to the case.

Sheriff Apple says his office has an overwhelming amount of evidence against the former governor.

“As I said the following Saturday, our investigators are going to conduct a very thorough and methodical investigation. We didn’t want to rush and we wouldn’t delay,” said Sheriff Craig Apple.

Cuomo is expected in court on November 17th.
