SHERIDAN — The Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park, the largest inland Naval Park in the United States, holds an annual event called “Ship N’ Shore” to raise funds for the park. The Sheridan VFW and Auxiliary have purchased a pair of tickets for this event in support of the park.
“Ship N’ Shore” happens Thursday, Aug. 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm For a $5 donation, you will support both the VFW and the Park, and will be entered in a drawing to win the pair of tickets. Last year’s winners thoroughly enjoyed the event, “a memorable evening of food, fun, and music on the Buffalo Waterfront,” in addition to exploring the ships and military displays, the museum, and the gardens.
Entries are available at the Sheridan Post 6390, 2556 Route 20 in Sheridan, or from veteran and auxiliary members of the Sheridan VFW post. The drawing will be Monday, Aug. 22.
