When it comes to the category of the best restaurants in the United States, few are more accomplished than Guy Fieri.
The Food Network’s larger-than-life chef has hosted the half-hour TV series Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives for a whopping 42 seasons, during which he’s traveled the country to sample some of the best eats in each of the 50 states.
With such an extensive culinary resume, it’s almost impossible to keep track of all the restaurants Fieri has visited. A website not only did that, but also identified the best Restaurant in every state from all of Fieri’s favorites.

A report by ABC News 10 in Albany, New York, shared details from a story by culinary website Mashed, which examined each of the thousands of restaurants visited in Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives series.
The website combed through all of Guy Fieri’s favorite stops along the streets of America, identifying the best restaurants in each state. According to Mashed, Brooklyn’s Pies ‘n’ Thighs was voted New York’s best restaurant ever be featured on Triple-D.

It was noted that picking the best restaurant in New York was harder for (her) than in several other states, but after much deliberation, Pies ‘n’ Thighs took the metaphorical pie.
Mashed also shared that the restaurant has won a number of awards for its culinary creations. They’ve won awards for the best donuts and cookies in New York, as well as some of the best apple pie and fried chicken in the country.
After receiving this level of recognition, it’s hard to argue that it’s the best in New York.

The restaurant has been featured several times on Fieri’s show, according to News 10. Here’s how you might have seen it in the past:

- Fieri sampled the restaurant’s fried chicken and waffles, spicy pulled pork sandwich, and a donut for the episode titled “Decadent Dishes.”
- Season 34, Episode 3
- Fieri cooked chicken and cookies from the Pies ‘n’ Thighs menu in the episode “Takeout: All Over the Menu”.
- Also featured in a Best of New York episode
Elsewhere, Burlington’s Bluebird Barbecue was named Vermont’s Best Restaurant. Boston’s Yankee Lobster was named best place in Massachusetts, while Valencia Luncheria in Norwalk topped Connecticut’s list of options.
