People at Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo will enjoy cleaner air

The Buffalo manufacturer of medical-grade air purifiers donated several units to the Babcock clubhouse.

“We wanted to take that a step further,” said Stacy Malesiewski, the director of marketing for Austin Air Systems. “Because you know, it’s not just about providing clean air for the kids in their classrooms, but where are they going after school? Where are they spending time during the summer, and camps and stuff? This is kind of an extension of being able to provide them with clean air wherever they’re at, so it’s kind of part of that initiative.”

Earlier this year, Erie County provided funding to put Austin Air units in classrooms across Buffalo and in some suburban schools.
