A Sag Harbor man was found fatally shot on Friday on Old Point Road on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation, state police said Monday.
The state police found at 9:52 p.m. that Ali Wisdom could not be approached on the road. Wisdom, 43, was taken to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Wisdom, state police said, was not a member of the Shinnecock Nation.
State Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call State Police at 631-756-3300 or Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
