Mrs. Estelle Dabbs Edmondson of Clover died Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the age of 95.
Mrs Edmondson was born in Halifax County on June 24, 1927 to the late James Dabbs and Lola Hudson Dabbs and was married to the late John Edmondson Sr. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Edmondson is survived by two daughters, Lola Clark (Robert) of South Boston and Daisy Edmondson of Clover; three sons, James Edmondson (Margaret) of Richmond, John Edmondson (Patsy) of South Boston and Clarence Edmondson of Halifax; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Edmondson of Clover, Mary Dabbs and Lottie M. Morton both of Albany, New York; three sisters in law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret Ellen Carrington.
Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Dabbs Edmondson will be held Friday, July 8, 2022, at 2 pm at The Crawford House Chapel with the Rev. Moses N. Dixon, eulogist.
Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery.
Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, July 7, 2022, from noon to 6 pm at Jeffress Funeral Home. A face mask and social distancing are required.
