Chandler Street Winter Market ’21 -’22 – Buffalo Rising

For the second time in a row, manufacturers and marketers are taking part in a winter market on Chandler Street. This special winter market revolves around sweet delicacies (baked goods, handmade chocolates, etc.), savory knishes, a variety of fresh mushrooms and mushroom delicacies, sustainably frozen seafood, grilled dishes hot from the smoker, healthy ready-made meals, organic vegetables from the region and crunchy apples , freshly squeezed cider and juices, wines, spices and CBD products.

One of the best aspects of this market is the indoor-outdoor flavor that allows people to experience the best of all worlds. 27 and 37 Chandler Streets will be busy all winter until late April ’22.

Find some of the best local food companies in the area, selling everything from hot ready meals and soups to decadent baked goods and farm produce.

The market, which takes place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is jointly run by Robert Gianadda of Flat # 12 Mushrooms and Lauren Willett-Benson of Kenmore Farmers Market.

Robbie explains, “We wanted to create a safe place where customers can shop locally and local food producers can reach their customers. This is vital to our community in general and we all come together to make this a reality – we have so much to offer from fall through spring! We are grateful for the support of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY, Slow Food Buffalo-Niagara and the tenants of Kitchens on Chandler for making this possible. “

The market takes advantage of the large parking lot at Kitchens on Chandler (27 & 37 Chandler St.) which is home to a collective of over 10 local food producers selling their newly designed commercial kitchen space.

The Winter Market on Chandler Street is a great place to meet up with friends, warm up with a hot drink, socialize outside (picnic tables) and / or inside (including visits to commercial kitchens / retail spaces). The list of marketeers is impressive thanks to the involvement of the in-house makers of ‘Kitchens on Chandler’.
