ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for TOWN OF MOREAU VAN BUREN STREET WATER MAIN EXTENSION will be received by the TOWN OF MOREAU at the TOWN HALL until 10 o’clock AM, local time on September 6, 2022 and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following places: TOWN OF MOREAU, 351 REYNOLDS ROAD, MOREAU, NEW YORK 12828 LABERGE GROUP, 4 COMPUTER DRIVE WEST, ALBANY, NEW YORK 12205 Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of the TOWN CLERK upon payment of a $100.00 deposit for each CD requested. Checks shall be made payable to TOWN OF MOREAU. If the Town is requested to mail the Contract Documents, there will be an additional non-refundable charge of $20.00 for postage and handling. All qualified bidders, upon return of full Contract Documents, will be refunded the full deposit. All non-bidders, upon return of full Contract Documents, will be refunded one-half of the deposit. All documents, returned for refund, must be received complete, in good condition and within thirty (30) days of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. BIDDERS OF THIS WORK WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRESIDENT’S EXECUTIVE ORDERS #11246 AND #11375. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BIDDERS AND CONTRACTORS UNDER THIS ORDER, WHICH CONCERNS NON-DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT, ARE EXPLAINED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS.
