Syracuse, NY – For most college football programs, reaching a record of .500 and earning a bowl eligibility are the bare minimums to consider a successful season.
This is especially true of the power five, where programs enjoy a resource advantage over smaller schools and traditionally can build their non-conference schedules to give themselves the best chance of making it into the postseason.
