ATH Javian Mallory is one of Florida’s top 2026 recruits.

He rushed for 499 yards and finished with 10 total touchdowns as a running back and added 14 tackles as a defensive back in his freshman year for West Boca Raton (Fla.) High. He was honored as a MaxPreps Freshman All-American.

Syracuse offered him on Friday and Mallory looks forward to hearing more about SU.

“It felt good to receive an offer from Syracuse, knowing that the coaching staff is interested in me and wanting to connect with me as a freshman is definitely a good feeling,” Mallory said in an interview with The Juice Online . “I don’t know much about Syracuse, but as I continue to progress in the recruitment process and make a trip there, I have a feeling it could be a place I can call home.”

When Mallory finally makes his decision, he’s looking for a good education and a coaching staff that can prepare him for the next level.

The other schools offered so far are Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Louisville, USF, FIU and Indiana.

“I don’t have any favorites yet, but it’s still early,” Mallory said. “Oregon and Tennessee are up there because they recruit me the hardest.”

At the moment schools are recruiting him as an athlete.

“Right now it’s hard to say because I love scoring touchdowns and I love punishing the ball carrier, time will tell,” Mallory said. “The way I see my body growing, I’m probably going to play on the offensive side of the ball at the next level.”
