Here are today’s top four stories in Three Village:

  1. The Emma Clark Memorial Library now offers free access to Hoopla! The digital service offers courses through MasterClass. In order to be able to use the content of the platform, you need a library card. (ECML)
  2. The Gallery North in Setauket is hosting a screen printing workshop. Local artist Jack D’Ambrosio will teach the class on Saturday 28th January at 2:30pm The gallery is located at 90 N Country Road, Setauket. (patch events)
  3. The Three Village Chamber of Commerce has three social events coming up! If you’re interested in attending neighborhood networking meetings, the first event of 2023 is scheduled for February 15 at Webster Bank in Stony Brook. Visit the link I shared for details. (Three Village CofC)
  4. The winter LI restaurant week starts on Sunday. Some Port Jefferson restaurants are offering three-course prix fixes through February 5th. The participating restaurants in the Village are Pasta Pasta, Nantuckets and Ruvo’s. (Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce)

  • Long Island’s First Hall of Fame is all about music and entertainment in the neighborhood. If you’re looking forward to attending some concerts this winter, check Hall’s website for January’s schedule of events. (LI Music Hall of Fame)
  • Port Jefferson Winter Ice Festival is this weekend! The free community event is scheduled for January 28th and 29th, both days from 11am to 5pm. Ice sculptures by Rich Daly of Ice Memories Inc. will be on display. The rink will be open and food vendors will be everywhere! (Port Jeff CofC)
  • Rage Room Long Island starts on March 3rd in Selden. It will be an exciting game for those who need to relieve stress and life’s frustrations. Contestants can choose a hammer, crowbar, and other tools to smash televisions, microwave ovens, and other electronics. (Newsday/subscription required)
