New York State In-depth

What are the latest odds for FSU Seminoles vs. Syracuse Orange?

Still looking for their first win of the season, Florida State’s schedule doesn’t seem to be getting any easier this week.

But Syracuse’s 3-1 record can be a little deceiving.

Orange had wins against Ohio, Albany and a narrow 24-21 win against Liberty last week, while Syracuse lost 17-7 to Rutgers in Week 2. The team’s schedule ranks 83rd among the 130 teams that make up the Football Bowl subdivision in NCAA Division I. In comparison, the FSU’s schedule ranks 43rd.

While there was good insight from the Seminoles’ 31-23 loss to Louisville last week, including Jashaun Corbin’s 75-yard touchdown run and overall performance, the FSU now remains 0-4 1-10 for the first time since 1974 .

Syracuse has a serious rushing attack from Sean Tucker who has 550 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Orange’s defense allowed only 17.75 points per game.
