TV, radio, game info for Boston College vs. Syracuse

Boston College basketball returns from its week-long layoff to host Syracuse at Conte Forum on Tuesday night.

The Eagles struggled to get into a rhythm until late in the game the last time it played. Virginia throttled Boston College in the first half and held off a late push to hang on for a 67-55 win. Boston College cut Virginia’s lead to single digits twice with less than two and a half minutes remaining, but a questionable flagrant I call on a Jaeden Zackery layup that should have resulted in an and-one swing the momentum back in Virginia’s favor.

Syracuse travels to Chestnut Hill winners of three in a row and needs that streak to continue in order to keep its slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive. The Orange enter Tuesday ranked 86th in NET and zero wins against Quadrant 1 competition. Boston College doesn’t present Syracuse with the chance for a Quad I win, but it could hand the Orange a loss that would sink any remaining hope it has at securing a tournament berth.
