Syracuse concludes the Virginia Tech Invitational with the men’s and women’s 200-meter dash

This weekend, Syracuse traveled to Blacksburg to attend the two-day Virginia Tech Invitational for its first meeting of the new year. On Saturday, the oranges competed in the women’s 200-meter dash and the men’s 200-meter dash to wrap up the meeting.

In the women’s 200m, Shaleah Colaire placed sixth overall with a finishing time of 25.33. Kaleia Arrington placed 11th and set her personal best with a time of 25.60. Peyton Rollins finished in 13th place with a time of 25.72, just two places behind Arrington.

Carlton Landingham and James Nmah finished sixth and seventh respectively in the men’s 200m final. Landingham produced a time of 22.58 while Nmah finished at 22.65.

SU’s next meeting is on January 21 when the Orange travel down to compete in the Cornell Upstate Challenge.
