Suffolk Sheriff hands out free toys and pajamas in Yaphank on Wednesday

YAPHANK, NY — The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office expects to give out hundreds of free toys and pajamas at the START Resource Center in Yaphank on Wednesday.

The START Center worked with service providers to identify needy children and families to attend the event. Additional items will be donated to walk-up participants on a first come, first served basis.

It is held in association with EJ’s PJs, Suffolk County Alliance of Chambers and Toys for Tots.

The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 200 Glover Ave.
