Physician’s assistant charged with violently touching woman: police

RIVERSIDE, NY — A physician’s assistant was arrested in Riverside and charged with violently touching a 21-year-old woman during an examination on Wednesday, police said.

Kenneth J. Alessi, 54, of Mattituck, was arrested on Friday at Sun River Health on Center Drive in Riverside – his place of work, Southampton Town Police said.

Alessi was charged with violent touch, a misdemeanor, police said. He was accused of examining a patient for rib pain and forcibly touching “intimate parts of her body,” police said.

He will be charged at Southampton Town Justice Court on Saturday morning, police said.
