BUFFALO, NY — The community has been giving back to East Buffalo in so many different ways since the mass shooting at the Tops grocery store on Jefferson Avenue.
Sunday night, a local food pantry will be partnering with Canisius College to host a relief concert. Both are located just up the street from the Tops store.
The outdoor concert hopes to promote healing and restoration in the city and provide a way to remember those that were lost.
Musical acts will feature local and nationally known gospel singers.
Local leaders also want to be there.
The event starts at 5 pm at Canisius College’s Spillman Lot on Jefferson Avenue.
