FULL POWER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and use of dump trucks and flatbed trucks as well as the less complex automotive equipment; good knowledge of the motor vehicle usage regulations; good knowledge of the occupational hazards involved and the safety precautions required when operating equipment; skill in operating less complex automotive equipment; Ability to perform emergency repairs and assist with general repairs to automotive equipment; physical condition that meets the requirements of the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of six (6) school grades.
REQUIRED SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be in possession of the appropriate license issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. The type of license required is determined by the appointing authority in relation to the type of vehicle to be operated. License must be maintained throughout employment in that position.
