COVID forces games to be postponed for local college sports teams

Siena was supposed to play a New Year’s Eve matinee at the Iona. It was a 1pm notice, but the Saints’ program is dealing with positive COVID-19 tests, which puts their immediate schedule at risk.

A Tuesday evening game at the beginning of the week was canceled and the postponements are now Friday and next Sunday.
Siena hasn’t played in 20 days. The next scheduled game is January 7th.

The Union men’s hockey team was scheduled to play UMass on Friday afternoon and Saturday, but both games have been canceled due to health and safety protocols.

The break for the Dutch will now last longer than three weeks after the last game.

Next up is a game in Dartmouth on January 7th.
