Buffalos Frightworld starts the season on Friday

BUFFALO, NY – It’s around October and that means the return of all things that are scary and creepy.

To kick off some Halloween celebrations, Frightworld opens its 19th season on Friday.

The completely redesigned haunted house is located in the former K-Mart on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo and will be filled with menacing clowns as well as other terrible goblins and ghouls.

When asked about the new location, Rochelle Finkelshtein, General Manager of Frightworld said, “We are incredibly excited to come back this year and celebrate Halloween with Buffalo and the rest of the country. Our new location is central to all of our fans, old and new. North Buffalo is being massively revitalized and we are happy to be a part of it. “

If you’re brave enough to cross over, there are several themed areas to visit, including an abandoned asylum and a confusing maze full of vengeful killers.

“That’s fun in a new building. We get the chance to create and change the new floor plans, designs, scares and effects from scratch, ”says Finkelshtein.

Frightworld is open every weekend from Friday through Sunday through November 6th. Tickets can be purchased online or at the local ticket office before your visit.
