Area Summary: Unbeaten Oxford Hills rallies to beat Windham in boys basketball

WINDHAM — Cole Pulkkinen lost 16 points for Oxford Hills in a 65-52 Class AA North win over Windham on Saturday.

Teigan Pelletier added 14 points, Tanner Bickford finished the game on 12 and Holden Shaw finished on 10 for the Vikings (6-0) who were 27-26 down at halftime.

Blake McPherson led the Eagles (1-5) with 14 points. Owen Combes (12), Creighty Dickson (11) and Quinton Lindsay (10) also reached double digits.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
OXFORD HILLS 87, NOBLE 21: Ella Pelletier scored 21 points for the Vikings (6-0) in a win over the Knights (0-5) in North Berwick.

Sierra Carson fell behind with 16 points, and Tristen Derenburger’s 12 points all came from behind the 3-point arc. Ashley Richardson finished with 10 points.

Emily Clark and Alexandra Nikitas each had five points for Noble.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
BATES 72, RUSSELL SAGE 53: The Bobcats beat the Gators 23-7 in the second quarter and pulled away on the Russell Sage College campus in Albany, New York.

Meghan Graff passed Bates with 22 points, Morgan Kennedy with 12 and Davina Kabantu with 10 points. Elsa Daulerio had a total of eight points and 13 rebounds.

Syrita Faraj also led the Gators with 22, and Giuliana Pritchard hit a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
